I have to agree with “signofzeta” last post. Activision is money hungry. Raven would have been way better by merging with ID instead of that greedy as publisher name Activision. The gameplay and longevity of SOF2 was awesome. After that and the departure of Kenn Hoekstra, it all went downhill for them.
P.S.: It is sad what Activision is doing to Infinity Ward heads. Get their money from MW2 and don’t want to pay up now. That is what you call Greedy Son of Bitches!
If Stephen A Smith was a Video game analyst, it would go like this.
“…No disrespect to Activision, but they are a bonafide scrub. They have small hearts, they don’t think about the developers and gamers, and they are bad publishers, thinking about money all the time, although MW2 is popular, and you are talking about how id is being bought by zenimax a bad omen to them? Puhleeze, the people and fans of id should be celebrating, throw a parade or something…”
Lolz.
The definition of a person or company who got ripped off? That would be Raven. Raven ripped us off, but Activision ripped Raven off 13 years ago. It is a shame really, I don’t think we could have done anything in the past, because we would never know the outcome of the future anyway. Raven decided to merge with Activision, thinking that they don’t have to deal with external publishers, and there is nothing we could have done. RIP raven. THE old raven. Raven is dead to me, because they are no longer friends with id. But id made new friends when they merged with Zenimax. I hope Bethesda’s new games use id tech 5 because the engine for Fallout 3 is utter fail.
