I don’t care if it’s real or not. It’s still too far from now.
crosses arms Hmph…

and why is it a Brink contest? You don’t even win a copy of the game as a prize, lol.[/QUOTE]
I am pretty sure you have to pre-order to be eligible, and I am pretty sure most participants wouldn’t want two copies of the same game.
Looks like Amazon has the same release date:
Same date appears to be listed on the Canadian store, too.

Definitely wouldn’t use Amazon as a marker, amazon.co.uk has Brink for oct 29th, so does play.com… both UK web stores.
September 7, 2010 - logic, normal. I’m not surprised.

Splash Damage Looking for Artists and Programmers

well, how I’ve said - it’s logic. Guys at SD have a lot of work that’s why they’re looking for additional artists and programmers.
That’s why September 7, 2010.
I prefere wait a little bit more time and then buy & play a good game !
Let’s go SD - good luck

it could be bethesda’s model to put down dates, compared to the when it’s done that id uses.

or they need more people for new projects, which is actually more likely
I find that there are not a lot of games that come out in May or June, the start of when people don’t have school. Why is that?
I dunno man, for me, college ends in april, and some people, ahem professors and teachers, don’t work in the summer, so I find that may and june release dates are more logical.
I don’t know when school is supposed to end in the eastern hemisphere, and the southern hemisphere, because in the northwestern hemisphere, school of any kind usually ends june at the latest.
It has to do with quarter reports and stock inflation. A company will sell sell sell near the end of a quarter to make it look like they’re doing well. Stock will increase subsequently. Its just a marketing gimmick. Other reasons are always secondary, holidays and competition factor alot into the equation. Activision releases the SC2 beta around the same time BFBC2 releases. BFBC2 being competition for IW, it is in their interest to draw hype away from the game.

I’m quite sure Badman specifically mentioned working on Brink.
As noted on Connected Consoles, Brink’s official release date is still ‘Fall 2010’.
