(SublimeShotz) #1

might actually get it now looks pretty decent depends on the price i dont lke paying half the price of a game for a guide

(Mustkunstn1k) #2

I don’t think it’s probably aimed at people like me, but it definitely does look nice. But I still am going to read what they have posted…

(SublimeShotz) #3

(system) #4

Looks like his ā€œoptimal class numbersā€ for each map will just be three of the primary objective class, one operative, and a pair of the remaining two.

(iheartchainsaw) #7

Ah! That guy from the german commercial with the cigar and bat Is Chen! I knew it.

(Schwarzeis) #8

Bloody ****, it IS that guy

I thought it was that guy who said ā€˜ā€˜ARE YOU READY TO USE THESE BROTHERS?’’, but no… He’s just one of his propagators, nice…

(Humate) #9

Please tell me this isn’t the PC hud - http://static.zenimax.com/bethblog/upload/2011/05/davidblog1b.jpg

(Angrim) #10

Certainly looks like it is. I don’t think it is that bad though. Especially considering we can customize a few things.

(SublimeShotz) #11

imo the hud looks better than it does on console

(Mustkunstn1k) #12

Well, what else could it be. What seems to be the problem with this?

It’s clear that the abilities can’t be sown in a same circle because on PC they aren’t on a d-pad, but the number keys most likely.

(Humate) #13

Rhetorical statement champ

As for hud, its personal taste. I just think it looks ****ing ordinary

(At the Gates) #14

I actually didnt pay close attention to the HUD. Looks good.

A new story entry has been added:
[drupal=799]An Introduction to the Brink Strategy Guide[/drupal]

When it’s released next week, Brink will also be getting a full-blown strategy guide courtesy of Prima Games. Written by David Hodgson, who previously put together the Fallout 3 strategy tome, the Brink strategy guide clocks in at a hefty 336 pages and covers everything from character builds and weapons to elaborate strategies for each of the maps in the game. Over at Bethblog, David has written a great introduction to the guide, laying out what kind of information you can expect from the guide for Brink’s Campaign and Freeplay modes. Here’s a slice to get you going:

Finally we see the face of brother chen.

ā€œmā€ key seems bit of a stretch for command wheel. Hooray for rebinding!

I do like the supply meter being a straight bar rather than the circle.

(dazman76) #18

That’s a pretty sweet looking guide  I quite like the UI - fairly plain yes, but nice and clean. Hopefully it should work well

I think the middle mouse button was supposed to be the wheel. So M might stand for Mouse. Although ā€œM3ā€ would make more sense.

How much are guides usually this would be pretty good for commentary use.
