Brink Prima Guide part 1
I don’t know what I was expecting, but I know that I like the idea of working out the better strategies for a given map, it feels somewhat disappointing to me to see an immediate strategy guide with map strategies included.
Badman any idea when next parts for this prima guide and the other blogs get released? i assume it wont be tommorow .
What percentage does SD get from the sale of this guide?
(P.S. If it’s greater than 0% I’ll certainly consider a purchase)
I think it’s all part of trying to ease the learning curve for people without a SD background
I saw there was a strat guide for brink and wondered if it would even be worth purchasing? I dont see any need I might have for it but I guess the class guides would help. My gamestop is offering a deal for the game and guide for $70…anyone gonna buy the guide? I’m curious
well i hope no1 was offended , was just a friendly joke i use with my american palls on xbox live :stroggbanana:
These guides are useless, anyone can learn these things by just playing, which is also more fun way to experience the game for the first time. Also, the tactics offered in these guides often become obsolete pretty soon after the release of the game. As the players become better, suddenly crazy tactics like having 5 operatives running around could become viable tactics on some maps. Most of the FPS games end up being played differently than the game developers intended, so outside experts who write these guides when the game is not even out yet are even more clueless.
If there ever was a strategy guide for the Quakewars, I think that today’s Quakewars veterans would get a good laugh out of it.
i wouldnt call them “useless” , you might not find a use for it but im sure someone at there finds these guides usefull
Already bought the guide it is nice i am a avid fan so this was a must have for me. I love the little History of the Ark section it helps me actually decide my first character and submerge myself more into the character and it really helped answer all my questions to what exactly went on great buy definitely worth the money.
How’s it look? The maps and strategies are uninteresting, but sometimes these double as decent art books- considering there’s no CE it would be nice to have some Brink memorabilia.
