So whats the wallhack perk? Looks like that link wasn’t about perks but interrogation.

Pub BFBC2 survived spotting, pub CoD4 survived unsilenced weapons (although there were a lot of no footsteps perks), pub ETQW wasn’t destroyed by radar.

Given that we don’t know the mechanics behind tapping out it may be that no pro player would ever let themselves be interrogated. And if interrogation is somehow forced and is gamebreaking then it’ll just be removed in a pro-mod, same as it has in many games.

So whats your problem? Nothing that hasn’t been encountered before and dealt with.

Perk system just doesn’t appeal to me.

If I have to spend time picking the right perks in order to win, the system fails
If I have to grind XP or invest time solely to keep ahead, the system fails

I’m prepared to be totally wrong and enjoy the hell out of it but from what I’m reading it just seems like purposely blurring the edges of a genre to appeal to a wider customer base.

SDK for non-noodles :). I don’t know if I am going to be one of those to find the silver lining in every new press release, but I can assure you that the positive people will fall the hardest if it turns out to be crap.

If it turns out to be crap I’ll be haunting these forums until they get it right. But so far I’ve already seen what preconceived bitterness about innovative features can do to one’s perception of the game in my other fanboy-obsession. I rather stay positive and curious.
