Increase the size of the chat is a Big fail imo !
Already to many information on the hud !! there is some massive player name, some massive white waypoint for medics, and now some ****ING massive chat …

Please give us the possibility to customize our hud and crosshair !!!
Why do you block all that cvars ?

no he is talking about the Brink dedicated Server, not the client. It got a 1,2 GB update, I got it too.

he is talking about the SERVER update! redownloading brink CLIENT would be more than 1.2 gb! both gsps and individuals must download 1.2gb of data for the server update. appears to be non incremental.

please make the next update focus on gameplay issues and balance. technical showstoppers appear to be done away with for the most part.

i think font size could use a cvar to adjust the size… it is kind big on my resolution…

Anybody know how to turn shadows back on? r_shadows doesn’t seem to do anything anymore. At least it doesn’t for me.

This patch has given me more fps but I still get frequent drops.

Bold and oversize font make my eyes blinking !
same for the medics waypoints, and now a fat big chat !!
when there is a lot of stuff on the screen you just can’t see if someone is coming, just let us plays with the size and the alpha value to make the game more playable ! thx in advance

sound bug is still there and now on the tower level for me. before i only had the sound problem on refuel. hopefully there is a hotfix instead of another wait for a patch.

It actually fixed all my problems. Major fps increase, sound bug in refuel fixed and no more crashes.
