Meh, too little too late. This game is falling fast. I told myself last time that I wouldn’t buy another game from Splash Damage and I did.

I gave them another shot, and what a big let down.

There will be people probably playing this game until there are only a few servers left just like Quake Wars.

I for one will not be doing so.

Never buying a game from these guys again, and I know I’m not alone…

Two things:

  1. Show me one other thread where I’ve derailed the topic.
  2. The OP merely points to the fact that DLC is being released. It doesn’t say “discuss the DLC only”. The fact that I won’t be able to enjoy the DLC if player decline continues at this rate is extremely relevant to the topic.

Nothing’s been derailed.

And I just spent 2 hours trying to find a game of Brink. 90% unsuccessful.

I’ve a right to be frustrated, and more than a right to bring it up on the forums after buying SD’s product.

What good is it?

Well, hopefully the more we bring it up the more it will spur on SD to fix things. If all they were hearing was positive feedback, then they’d not have as good an idea of the state of things.

You made a thread that explained exactly why you’re upset, it’s more than likely been read by the devs as you’re not the only one complaining. Did you feel obliged to reiterate your issues once again in this thread?

All it would take would be a slight acknowledgement, and a thread started by a PR guy seems like it might be a more likely place for it.

Why would I put you on ignore? The posts where you aren’t complaining are perfectly fine and can have some great insight, the problems start when you repeat yourself over and over. Also, derailing a thread means the whole course of the thread skews and so do the replies, so having only you on ignore wouldn’t stop that… and it’s the derailing I have the issue with.

it’d be awesome if ignore had a filtering function, so if a post contains certain specified words then it’s blocked :wink:

I wouldn’t go that far coughAti ownerscough, but yes it’s far easier for PC players to get a game just now. If I was allowed to ask SD 1 question and was guaranteed an answer, I would ask why they didn’t add match making and lobbies to the console version of the game… it’s the design decision that boggles my mind the most for a P2P game.
