Your not always annoying or bothersome but at times i just want to reach through the screen and back hand you. I just find you awfully hard headed at times. But for the most part youre not a bad guy at all and just want to fully enjoy the game with no problems, also you have alot of good constructive thoughts on the game.
But the first part i mentioned is whats hurting your rep and driving some bonkers just chill out and relax, the devs got our back on this and are gonna do what they can to make it all it can be, just stay positive and have faith. If you really feel the need to say something PM one of the devs or email them, no need to spam the boards with the same thing in every thread day after day.

Just so you guys know, my 4/5* positive review of Brink for the ps3 platform is currently ‘number 1 most helpful’ rated by other customers on a very popular online store.

I’ve convinced two of my friends to buy Brink this weekend to try to help me enjoy the game due to lack of online players.

I continually argue down those who pointlessly bash the game and try to convince people it’s worthless.

I’ve just not got a massive amount of faith in a dev company who took a year out to “smooth” over a game and it was still released in this state. I’ve been a gamer for many, many years, and I’ve read/heard these kinds of promises many many times and seen them sadly unfulfilled.

My cynicism is founded.

You think you’re being more helpful than I am, but 90% of the time spent here you’re trying to belittle anyone who offers an option that doesn’t cast Brink in a holy light.

Maturity is lacking somewhat.

How many times has a patch been released in the history of gaming that hasn’t fixed things well enough to make a difference?

I don’t need to answer that for you.

how nice of you to dismiss their effort without even knowing what the patch will bring, you can try and mask it with your civil talk and feigned superiority, but underneath you still come across as a whiney little ass

Hypocrisy suits your nature, Nail.

Forgive me for not having absolute faith in a company who took a year out to smooth things over and still released a game in an awful state. Forgive me for the gaming industry /consistently/ proving that “promise” =/= happening.

And I honestly do think that fixes for the game’s actual ability to run well should be paramount over extra content.

I know you understand my point of view, and I also know you’re choosing to collide with me because you feel better for it somehow.

Let’s try to be objective: it doesn’t matter how much new content we get if there isn’t a community strong enough to support it.

Right now, the community online on ps3 is dwindling.

I know they’re working on things, but /neither/ of us can predict if their efforts will be enough or in time enough to make enough difference.

We can only hope.

If i had a nickel for everytime i have heard that… no one is telling you that you cant whine, we are all just saying Please Kindly STFU or GTFO because we as forum members dont want to hear that crap day after day. Make one thread for your complaints and never again, just keep using that thread, or better yet just write a PM or email to the devs and let them know. NONE OF US GIVE A CRAP what your problems are with the game that we already know about and have also experianced!

back on topic to the DLC pack and whats IN it (not bitching about what isnt)…

in an alternate universe, where this first pack wasn’t going to be free, i would take a good hard look at the content and ponder it awhile, think about how it would affect my game play…and ultimately decline to buy it. if after a week or so of playing…if the new content totally changed the way the game was played, i might buy it then but most likely would shelve the game.

maps are great
customization additions are good
new weapons and abilities can be game breakers
