I’ve not yet really checked the upcoming things, but am I the only one thinking pyro, and especially regen field, are going to help defense even more than currently?
I don’t think it’ll do good seeing how defense already has an easier job

Regen field will also help offence hold a point while their operatives / engineers complete their objectives.
Pyro mines will be great for holding command posts. Operatives already spot mines though. The current mines don’t seem to be a massive issue so I’m guessing it’ll just be an extra mine for engineers to put down.

So if you go to level 24, how many more ability points does that mean? Obviously 1 pt will got to Rank 5 Pyro/Napalm/UAV/Field Regent.

Like “offensive” mines, while true it can be usefull, it’s going to be far less usefull than for defense, imho. It’s going to help defense more than offense, it’s a static thing

Lol, it would be nice to get something going on in the way of news for console players. i think they believe that we can piece together “very soon” and hey look updates for PC oh tweaks for PC and hey! PC gets new stuff! and the console guys have just been on standy by.

Nah. It just shows we are getting some goodies too, very soon. All that stuff will be part of the DLC which is typical for my experience with games like Gears of War. The patch is part of the DLC. 1,132K matches played just on Xbox alone. We’ll get a whole bunch of love going forward, I am sure about that.

This is internesting. Are those changes will be part of DLC for x360 or as a separate patch ? Hard to see this patch as a part of not compulsory DLC. I hope for some announcements soon (yesterday ? )
