Having an issue where I’m binding an IP to the servers, cports shows the servers are binding the right IP, but when someone tries to query the server on 27016, it returns a timeout.
Is this a bug right now? No firewall is blocking the traffic.
update hldsupdatetool
“I download the game files through the hldsupdatetool.exe application.”

bug is confirmed, it’s 5 AM there, not many at work
They release the game in the middle of the night but don’t have people ready to work? Seems rather silly.
New to Steam, cant seem to find it(I dont have Brink purchased through Steam btw). Mainly just want to see how big the download is though.
Server Size: 1.23GB (31 files, 1 folder)
Client Size: 5.30GB (194 files, 5 folders)
Hello, does anybody know when the linux files come out?
Every time every game windows files are first online…
Thanks !
I’m not sure when the linux server files come out. I don’t think there will be any, but it’s possible.
I’ve got a question:
Is it possible to do something like
When I download the files via steam, I can just copy those over to my server right?
Or does it require steam to be running on the same machine?
For those wondering why people are playing co-op on their servers when you disabled hijacking…
The PDF lists the variable as net_allowServerHijacking when it’s actually net_serverAllowHijacking

That’ll work fine, it doesn’t require steam.
At XFactor Servers, we have a lot of servers that no one can connect to. They don’t show up in the server browser, but are definitely starting. Is this being fixed?
Pls check here there are more Settings needed:
BRINKBASE-ServerSettings BRINK!!!
Are you sure you started it up properly, with spawnServer and all? It’s all in the PDF, I’ve set up 2 servers on my own dedi’s and had no problems at all.
Any news regarding the +net_ip binding ?
We just checked with netstat, and it doesn’t seem to work for now.

After looking deeper, we found something interesting :
The server port master doesn’t bind correctly, whereas the serverport works properly.
Linux, where are you?
Anybody does have information about it?
Still in the works. Not out yet.
