Then let me bring something constructive. Your so caled
is a flame, and full of c***. Your started your holly “death animation crusade” on a lie.
Ther was no grenade, only a molotov botle, hence no “KABOOM”, no blast, debris or anything else, no need for him to animate a death away from the blast.
the Security Guy was killed by the fellow laying on his back in the lower right side of the screen. With this you will find that his death animation is preatty much good. Play’it frame by frame, you only need to pause the movie in Vlc at you 42 sec. mark and pres “E”.
I do not find the point to bring something constructive to a witchhunt about 17-20 sec. of death animation from a 1:18 movie who is tryng to show the guns you will have in Brink.
Now I’m not really sure about any of Brink’s features anymore as it seems very little ends up confirmed but in Horse’s compendium v2 there’s a quote from one Richard Ham
“on the topic of molotovs, that poster was done a long time ago for our first cover article. at the time, we were definitely planning on having them in the game, had even done models and whatnot. but we generally prefer to only leave something in the game if we can “do it right”, and doing proper fire spreading is a TON of work that would have negatively impacted a lot of other systems (remember, we’re still a very small team of devs by modern game standards… just 50ish guys working on the game, compared to other teams that are 100+), so molotovs unfortunately got cut awhile ago.
but that just means that the stuff that remains is even better and more polished!”
On top of that, in the Choir of Guns video the controversial 00:42 does appear to be a grenade and not a molotov, mostly because I’ve never known a molotov to throw out so many sparks. I do think it looks a bit silly though if it is in fact the grenade/molotov that kills the guy but I have a feeling the heavy guy to the right might have been the cause of death. I dunno.
