Box Art of the Standard Edition

please put a hi-res image of the box art of the standard edition on the dvd of the collectors edition. that image is most adorable :clap: best would be to give us an image of the strogg in front of the pic in life-size :smiley:

You remember Warcraft 3, world of warcraft, and starcraft, had alternate box arts signifying each race, and those are collectors item?

It would be cool if the box art featured each race, and that would be a collectors item.

Like the one Joe999 posted, that would be the strogg box. Now there would also be a GDF box too. Now that would be cool.

Arenā€™t boxes still used quite a lot in the US instead of DVD cases as in Europe or have that changed?

I have 4 boxes that are thick CD/DVD cases. About the thickness of a normal game box.

it seems that typically new games release with a box, but after a while a lot of those games end up with straight dvd packaging.

And I would assume that the actual game from the pre-order with the extra stuff comes in the first box right? The one that says ā€œcollectorā€™s editionā€?

If you preordered the game, you should have gotten the preorder kit, which includes the poster, 2 cards, your advanced registration, and other stuff.

The Collectorā€™s Edition comes with an additional 10 cards and other stuff (like a bonus disc or something?).

The store should have asked you whether you wanted to preorder the CE or normal edition. Just preordering itself does not guarantee the CE edition. Possibly different in other countries, but thatā€™s how it works in North America.
