it’s not about using and not using them. qw will either have them or not, of course it’s a bonus if the game has 'em, but there’s no use whining around and say id made a mistake by not including bots in q4 in the hope that qw will get them.

for everyone who likes to play against bots i recommend dead rising, you gotta kill more than 50000 bots within a frew hours. played it the weekend and it’s kinda fun when you run away from the zombies, get to a freight elevator, the door opens and it’s full of zombies. luckily you just picked up a katana … guess what a mess you can make in there :smiley: and the longer you play you keep yourself asking where tf they are all coming from, they become more and more and more and even more …

It’s Basically for people who have 56k, or bad internet connections, or when they’re traveling.

bots will have their uses, I think - especially for stuff like learning how to pilot vehicles & aircraft without pissing off teammates. That’s what I plan to do if bots are in there when it ships.

Joe999: I don’t think anyone takes the pic serious. Its just a demonstration of the weakness of your position when you use them. If you could justify your position with reason and rational debate, it would be one thing. But since you can’t, or won’t, you resort to the good old “Straw Man” attack, where you attack the person instead of the idea. Which is universally considered forfeiting the debate by anyone with an IQ over your average jar of mayo.

But hey - I’ve always thought they were funny, if rather non-topical. :slight_smile:

Either way, I’m curious to see what SD will do - their silence is very suspicious. Usually by now they would have come on the forum with some vague, smartass remark, letting us know we were barking up the wrong tree. :smiley:

Calling ppl “immature” just because you cant make a logical argument and complaining in a thread about bots then claiming that you dont care about them, comes off as well, “immature” and “whiney”. (see projection: def #6)

I think the point about development time/resources being wasted on bot development, was your best argument. The self portraits seem imbecile.
