Bots in Et

Looking at the pk3 files I see there is a folder called bot files and that in the developers cfg files that bot files are set to “1”.

Bot names etc all there how can we get this to work in E.T

Leftover commands from developers that play other Q3A-based games, no doubt.

I.E. The commands do Jack Squat now, or were in there for a while before they tac-nuked the bot code, since they couldn’t get them working for ET-style play, especially something like Campaign-style play. =^.^=

That’s most likely stuff left over from RTCW. That’s what happens when you build games on top of games on top of games. (ET->RTCW->Q3) Bots suck in multiplayer anyway. Server admins like to inflate player count with them. If I really wanted to play with bots, I’d do it on a local server with no lag.

This was mentioned earlier. What happened is Splash Damage didnt have enough time and support to finish the bots.
