Blank monitor prolem

wazup all, nice forum, anyway heres my -prolem, i been getting this for a couple of weeks now, tried new video drivers sound drivers , problem still there, everytime i get in the game to play ET, i play for like 5 minutes or so, suddenly the monitor shuts off, then im left with a stuttering noise that keeps repeating, the monitor still shut off with repeated noises, very annoying, anybody had this problem b4, if u had it and fixed it please let me know
