Binoculars

I mostly play Fops because I go through alot of ammo, sometimes I use arty strikes if I can’t shoot it and its stationary (like snipers and mgs) but lately the damn binocs don’t lower after I right click on the mouse. Doesn’t happen all the time, just once in awhile.
I’ve tried switching weapons on the keyboard, but nothing seems to work. Its pretty lame to call in arty and then /kill yourself right after. Anybody else experience this problem?

why dont u use the letter “b” on ur keyboard ??

it is much much faster…

and u dont have 2 switch weapons all the time…

This has only happened to me when I was killed with the binos up. After I was revived my view was “locked” in the bino viewpoint and I couldn’t switch away. This is why we have the /kill command…

this has happened to me alot aswell only as f ops. When im in a hurry. Very annoying bug. Cant take it off or switch weapons.

For some reason i’ve never had that prob with field ops…i’ve even tried to do it on purpose.

It can’t be done on purpose, it just happens, scrolling the mouse wheel, pressing ‘B’, all your numeric keys, and the damn thing won’t come down. I wish I could at least throw the bloody things. Its happend to me no more than a dozen times, but annoying as hell. It must look pretty damn funny to the guy who runs up to you guns a blazing while you’re counting zits on his greasy forhead!

Bind a key to +zoom, i don’t know why they even made it possable to switch to the binocs when +zoom was all you could use in RTCW.
