You have to understand that what people are discussing here is personal preference and people who prefer the ‘arcade’ style of ET:QW and W:ET are less likely to enjoy the ‘realism’ of a battlefield game. Unless you enjoy wasting your time, you should not be looking to convince people that their gaming preferences are ‘wrong’ and calling games number one or game of the year does not advance your argument as it is purely based on personal opinion.

ok, i agree, its my personal opinion, but now explain to me, if they like aracade style of etqw why is there promod? to make it less arcade? or to make game more realistic?
bfbc2 in normal mode is much harder than etqw in promod, and there is also hardcore mode for bfbc2…

I don’t think promod was ever meant to make the game realistic, just more competition friendly.

Not at all. Promod is an attempt make the game even more of an ‘arcade’ shooter where the environment is very controlled in terms of vehicles, artillary, splash damage, weapon differences, radar, etc., so that the outcome of a firefight or map should be dependent on the aiming, movement and awareness skills of the players. It is not about how fast players die when you are shooting at them.

In a competitive (player versus player) multiplayer game, ‘hard’ and ‘easy’ are completely subjective terms as what is easy for one person or team will be hard for their opposites.

since 2008 i red threads etqw is dead, dying and so on. now, in 2010 not only there is not enought players to start a campain, even stats and forums are gone. its not that hard to say good bye to that game. uninstalling it from hdd and thats it.
maybe brink will be game of the year, who knows… but now, who can tell me what else to play? mw2? or wolfenstein?

Umm, then go play it? :rolleyes: As you may have noticed, I am confused about your need to convince others to stop playing one game and play what your playing.

Regarding ET:QW, arguing that the game is dead because some people claimed it was dead three years ago is not convincing.

I can’t find a free beta key so I’m not buying it to try the beta either.

I jumped on Wolfenstein the day it game out and was soooo disappointed :(, I’m not going to make that mistake again…Brink on the otherhand, I might have to pre-order.

yeah! i told it many times this game rockz!:wink:
i preordered limited edition so i got my key, good is, if i will not like beta, i can cancell my preorder. but from beta i see this game is worth that money.

Thank you milla I played the beta, I played BF1942/BF2 and BF2142, dont think I’m a noodle when it comes to bf games…

Some gameplay part are just some stuffs I dont like, but trust me that some other are just flaws in the game, and its faaaar from being finished yet, thats why I wont buy it untill 2 or 3 patches comes out, even BF2142 was more “aim” friendly…

Anyway I already told you why I think this game wasnt finished at all, ad telling me that you can kill a tank with repair tool wont help you that much if I’m in mode “camp a hill” with 2 engies backing me up… Maybe the game will turn good, but I wont buy it just after the release, I’m bored of companies who try to send you unfinished game cuz its the “game of the moment”, IDC about all the hype as long as the game isnt finished…

Etqw aint dead. People play be it ranked or whatever. Apples tourny got more interest than i expected and thats razz and if we who signed up have ggs then good stuff il sign up for the next one ad infinitum.

BF2bc2 or bc2 (for ease) is a beta. Its got it faults but damn its worth trying. 32 player with destructable terrain (try the 16 max slot servers). Its got it faults and it isnt the same kind of game that qw is. But it is a interesting shot for mp and i have on the whole found it quite fun and intense despite its flaws.

But tbh that seems to be the way games are, and always will be. Ya can always compare it to et and moan :wink:
