why do you care for attaching words like alpha or beta to the game? those are just words with different meaning from company to company, person to person. e. g. what EA considers final, i consider alpha. however, EA has a good marketing company and knows how to even sell those alphas. quake wars on the other hand will come out when it’s ready to come out. there’s no reason for us users to know if it’s in an alpha or beta or final state as long as we can’t put our hands on it [/quote]
Well that’s the problem there, we can’t put our hands on it, and have the game good at the same time.
1st wait is the next bit of news
2nd wait is the official final weapons and maps
3rd wait is the announcement of the official release date
4th wait is the game’s release.
The 3rd one is the one I’m waiting for. If I know the release date, I can then chillax.
Even if the date is completely wrong, I still have a date to strive for.
For a date called “When it’s done”, it leaves me thinking, it might come out tomorrow, or next month, or next year, or till the end of time. Oh the possibilities.
I hear that there is an official date called “When it’s done” and tomorrow is that date. SD better hurry it up. Not only will we be able to get our hands on ETQW, we can also get our hands on Duke Nukem Forever. (lol i made a funny, maybe it was a bad joke I don’t know)
