Whats wrong with the cloak? Also my candidate for worst is IR, not only is it annoying to look at things with it activated, it’s also broken like 50% of the time I use it and doesn’t highlight enemies white making them even HARDER to see than before.
Snitch isn’t very good against better players, it’ll just get shot quickly. Imo the best is probably one of the medic abilities, like the med station or revivr. If we look at just the abilities, imagine how OP a revivr on fragger would be. But the snitch? Not so much.
Phantom’s cloak is actually useful as hell for EMPing deployables. The cloak itself isn’t that great against experienced players, but even then it’s not what I’d call the worst.
I agree with @SnakekillerX though, the IR goggles are the worst for me. Even the smoke grenade is pretty bad tbh, 50% of the time it becomes more annoying than helpful
What are you people talking about, goggles+smoke is the most OP thing in the game (maybe tied with Thunder). IR goggles is also the best way to get huge amounts of support XP.
Martyrdom. It might work the first few times with pubs but afterwards it might as well not exist.

technically every medic’s revive become useless when you use martyrdom, especially in competitive with friendly fire

on a serious note i think Aimee’s snitch is really useless as you need to throw it right in the middle of the enemy team for it to work, and every time i shoot it before it even activates
as for the most useful ability i would say the healing abilities as they increase the longevity of your team greatly

Also mines are certainly not the worst, worst case they let you know an enemy is coming along a flank route or slow them down as they try to pass through somewhere, best case they kill 1 or 2 enemies who don’t notice them or can act as a short range grenade. Mines are certainly better than say a snitch or martyrdom.

Best, Frag Grenade, in it’s current form, very fair and reasonably balanced. My only suggestion would be for Fragger to say voice lines while cooking the nade. So people have an audio alert to avoid him.

Best: IR Goggles, Kira’s Laser, and Thunder’s conc
-IR Goggles are amazing when they work properly. I’ve ran into something that may just be a bug. If you use the goggles for a few seconds, then try to use them again when there’s still time to use them on the cooldown, it doesn’t always work. I used to work fine, but I’m not sure what happened.
-The laser is self explanatory. Drop it down on someone and drag it through cover, easy 3-5 kills most of the time.
-The conc isn’t so good, but it’s very broken. The concussion part itself is fine, but it’s the flash that doesn’t work right. It blinds people through walls and people who are looking away. It blinds people for way longer than it should as well. You have no chance of survival because you can’t see a damn thing through it. Has a low cooldown and unlimited range.
Worst: Stoker’s molotov is useless right now. It could be bugged or a silent nerf, but it does almost no damage (unless it was fixed recently, idk).

OP and highly unsatisfying to use. Constant reminder (every 15 seconds) of how long Thunder has been broken.

Worst ability has to be Nader’s martyrdom. So useless and in ranked, ends up killing your team members half the time. Best? Can’t pick one best so I’ll separate them:
Healing: Healing Pulse
Scale able to how much health you need, area heal, and you can force it on teammates. You don’t have to rely on them to be smart and pick up your packs or go to your station.
Attack: Fragger’s Nade or Thunder’s Conc
Self-explanatory, EZ kills.

I find the healing station more useful as a defender or trying to hold a spot while the healing pulse is able to be more moble and capable of healing a group of teamates instantly no matter if its a Proxy or a Rhino.
While those points are true about mines, they also have bad weaknesses
-Easy to see.
-Can be used to kill the Proxy who threw it + her team if FF is on.
-Even though it would alert Proxy to where you are, it also tells you to expect her.
-EMP exists
-Short range grenade usually kills her.
As far as usefulness goes, any medic ability is best, and Martyrdom is the worst
As far as kill potential goes, sticky bombs are easily the best and conc nades/cloak are the worst
As far as team assists go, Aimee SNITCH and Conc nades are tied at best, and IR is the worst
I solved the problem of conc nades long ago by learning what Thunder looks like when tossing and turning away so I don’t get flashed. Then I just shoot the Thunder, it’s pretty much impossible not to at least take half their HP down and if you have any unflashed teammate nearby, Thunder has to disengage or die. It’s only benefit is holding everyone down for your team, and that it happens every 15 seconds hah.
