i’m in high agreeance with them. my clan was made by me, and i might be the best player, but i think mike is gaining on me… it still doesn’t matter. not only is a clan about a family/friends, but it’s also about team work. you can’t get people you don’t know to work as a team, i’ve tried.
this might also explain why we have never (and may not ever) held tryouts. i invite people in the clan, and they either accept it or not, but i invite them on the type person they are, and how “fun” they are to play with, not how good they are.
i think many times people forget that we play games to have fun, not to win. lets face it, a game in which you beat every level the first try is not gonna be fun at all, there was no challenge; so you probably would have hated the game.
anyway, what i’m getting at is; i think a clan is more than just a group of elite players, it’s a group of people who have similar interests, and have fun playing together on the game. the key word is fun, cuz if you’re not having fun, then you shouldn’t be playing the game.
