banned

yesterday me got banned from [lgnd] campaign :blah: why ? i used my own, special cheat :

bind m say “^3*^1warning^3*^7: cvar godmode (=1) must be equal to 0”

its a shame :bash: , but until you can generate a new key over and over it doesnt matter if you get banned :banghead: :bash:

(Riftgarde) #2

I should try that later tonight.

i think an admin should know the difference between a simple say bind and a real pb-message. the et-world is full of noob-admins,hard to find one who knows what to do :blah: :bump:

(Ragnar_40k) #4

How about this: bind a say “\exec aimbot.cfg”

(Stottyd) #5

Probably not a bad thing you got banned from those servers, they really are truly newbie infested.

What is it about large servers that makes n00bs flock to them like moths to a flame?

(xero) #6

20 player servers = too much
14/16 player servers are great.

40 player servers = FUCKING LAG + super spam.

(Englander) #7

No I think 20 people servers are fine.

Banning you was a bit harsh, but using that kind of bind is really, really sad and immature. Personally I’d have just laughed at you had you used that on the rtcw.co.uk servers, but my advice would be to drop it as even if it doesn’t get you banned it makes you look like a complete prat.
