hey guys when i load et and try to joi na server i get the waiting gamestate, even when the server isnt full (might be thinging of awaiting challenge) but then i look in the drop down menu (cant remmeber the name right now, thats odd, its when you press “`”) and it says punkbuster is trying to connect, and every 2 seconds it will write again punkbuster client : awaiting connection… ive never had this problem before and I am having it in Americas Army now too, i always have 2 wait for PB to authenticate. Is there a new version of PB i need? b/c i havnt had this prob b4, also i am on a universities web, so that could be the problem… maybe its just a little slower?

Make sure that you don’t have pb.exe blocked from your firewall. (had something liked that on my other computer)
There is a new version of pbweb out, 2.2.

EDIT: Ok i added pbweb to the allow list ( dunno if it was blocked) and i’ll see if it works later.

well it looks like the Pb master is down I turned it off on my server and all is well

what is up with this? Looking on punkbusters site there is of coure NOTHING. arrrgghhhhh 
:banghead: I just needed to come home and frag some people tonight and now it looks like its not going to happen… blah.

More servers seem to have troubles with PunkBuster. I cannot connect to most :-(.

hey dude… i have exactly the same problem. I dont know if it is a PB problem… but iv been in contact with them and they havnt replyed yet… i downloaded off a friend the last version of PB… and that version is working fine for him but not me… so that leads me to thing that its not PB… I also connect through a univiersity web… through putty.exe which is like a gateway… i have to enety my ID then password… every i connect to ANY server it just stops on awaiting gamestate and then eventually i loose my patience after an hour. its realy frustrating…
