Autoexec not working

My auto Exec dosnt launch on start up… could this be the reason and how do i sort it???

Working directory F:\WOLFEN"1 wlooks a bit suspect too. What command line are you starting ET with.

im using just the normal ET.exe… ( i think) i have it installed in F: drive
“F:\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\ET.exe”

Start in:- F:\WOLFEN~1

Probably doesn’t like using a tilde in there with the shortened version. Or are you using quotes?

And btw: is F: a read-only drive?

F is a 3rd hard drive where i keep games… so no its read and write…
Pluse i only just moved it to F: from C: because i had this problem before and i thought moving it would solve it… but no :frowning:

So here is a screenshot of me right clicking -> Properties on the ET icon i click to start the game

Ok, copy the contents of the Target box to the Start in box, and remove “\ET.EXE” from it. That should help a a little as the paths in W:ET won’t be as messed up.

I did as you said… But still get this… (cant write to BOB profile)

But what i have just done is Rename the default profile from BOB to WalBanger and then it dosnt say “CANT WRITE PROFILES”

So maybe fixed???.. ill try to look into it tongiht when i come back from work
