I keep thinking it would be pretty slick if the auto update function of ET automatically downloaded ET Final when it is ready but I havn’t seen much discussion of this feature.
Any chance of this happening?

i think if they did it that way, most server admins would immediately disable autoupdating, or at least point it to someone else’s http

I think your gonna have to download the final release manually I think the auto update feature is there to quickly patch the game.

I can assure that if there was an auto update (and I’d be shocked if there was), 99% of server owners would disable the download feature. No one wants to have their bandwidth sucked up by this feature for a huge download.

I think the more NOOB BASTARDS miss the full release the better and the sooner vanilla wolf dies a death, this takes over and properly refereed servers are set up, also the better.
