autmatic team swap

hey guys i’ve got a question about server setup. i posted this inthe editing forum and was told id get better help here. heres what i want to do. i want to setup a campaign that does this. say you have a 3 map, oasis, battery, railgun. or whatever. after oasis i want to swap the teams allied-axis, and then again after battery and finally again after railgun. so that everyone is playing different sides every map. i only want each map to play once so stopwatch mode is out.

The simple answer: no.

Here’s why. While the server is running in campaign mode, it treats the entire thing as “one big map.” So you can run commands at the end of a campaign but there’s not way to specify commands to be run between maps. Campaign rotations are defined by the .campaign files in the scripts directory. Since these only list the maps to cycle through, you don’t have any place to send commands to the server console or execute other scripts.

You could do this while running in objective mode, since the objectivecycle.cfg only calls specific maps and leaves you room to add these server commands. Unfortunately, with stock ET you can’t carry over xp. I know Shrub has a setting that lets you get around this, only resetting xp when you tell it to.
