Isn’t it really up to the people not to watch, read and view spoilers. If someone gets the game (legitimately) early the so what if they post pictures and share info. My annoyance is people who pirate the game and then run around spreading info to get their 15 minutes.

If you read his OP, i dont think he has anything against people having it early, just with people putting it up all over the net that they have the game.

I doubt anyone of us here would turn down a chance to have the game early, Jess included. Most of us wouldn’t be making videos or threads advertising the fact that we have a copy, though.

Look, the point is that the game got sold early to a few, then ripped and leaked, and is now on various parts of the internet. If they want to be stupid and reveal themselves on the forums, that’s their problem. The game comes out in 4 days, just look forward to that date.

Is there actually an underlying problem here i.e. “I want to visit SD forums, but don’t want to be hit with spoilers”?

Breaking a clause in the TOS can’t lead to any criminal proceedings at least - so at worst, if the user has set up some account and allocated a key to it, that account could be banned from playing. A TOS only covers clauses that the publisher/developer can action themselves, so it’s pretty much limited to this banning/suspension of control accounts.

If you legally purchase the game, there is no recourse from the publisher. However they have the right to remove any content you post.

Jess is full of **** when he says you can be banned for playing a game early.

You can be banned for pirating the game. If you purchase it early, congrats, I hope you enjoy your purchase and I will look forward to seeing you on the 10th.

You’re totally correct. And I was totally bluffing. But that guy’s post totally got taken down. Because he shouldn’t have been an idiot and tried to win a popularity contest on the developer’s forum just because he has an early copy.

AND to all of you guys. You should NOT listen to anyone who posts and says they have the game early. They could be feeding you misinformation about the game. That’s going to be the next troll tactic is idiots saying they got the game early and it sucks because this this and this. And you guys will eat it up.

When I’m buying games for consoles I’m always looking to the mom and pop stores to get my early copies of games. I’ve bought every street fighter game and marvel vs capcom game that way. At least 4 days earlier. I can’t hate on anyone that got A LEGAL COPY of the game early. Not their problem.

I just don’t see why you have such a big reaction to this other than self importance and or jealousy. I agree with a lot of your posts regarding other stuff but this one is coming off a little too backseat moderatory. If that’s not a word, it should be.

Let the mods deal with it tbh.
