Due to some insightful comments made by @Matuno, I have actually changed my mind on this matter in favor of causing a split vote between Proxy and Fletcher in Week 5 and giving another merc a better chance to win Culprit.

If you’re still interested in what I had to say, you may continue, I guess…

[spoiler]Proxy won first rotation.

Vassili beat out Phoenix last week despite how close the race was.

We already have two horrendously bad mercs lined up for the Free Rotation in Week 5, meaning that excluding Fletcher as a possibility, we will already be flooded with proximity mines at every corner and bad team-bottoming noob-snipers in virtually every match.

If Fletcher makes it to Prime Suspect status, Week 5 will be a total sh**storm.

We already have two of the most stereotypically bad/unfun mercs to have noobs running around with on the free rotation.

I’d like not to have a third.

Anyways, since #teamNader failed in first week, and Fragger is a fairly decent counterpart, I am aligning myself with #Fragger4Suspect (who conveniently is already in the lead… yay!) and I’ll bring RedEye into my squad sometimes just for kicks.

The important thing is to

Fletcher.

Problem is, if both Fletcher and Proxy make it into the final round, the vote is split. People wouldn’t be likely to bring two Engineers into the fray, so instead of all engineer time going to one merc, we’ll see the Engineer time being divided over those two mercs.

Which makes it easier for Vassili to win, which is what I really, really, really do not want.

Kinda like if Hillary Clinton becomes the Democrat nominee, and Bernie would still run for president. The democrat camp would get divided up, and the two democrat shards are going to be smaller than Trump’s following, resulting in an otherwise preventable win for Trump.

(This is the textbook example of a split vote, don’t comment on the topic of it).

Well, if you think about it, no matter who wins this week, they’re no competition for Proxy and Vass.

Fletcher will split the vote, so Vass win.
Fragger and Kira will be unplayed compared to Proxy.
And Vass trumps Redeye, even though Redeye is clearly the superior recon merc.

In the end, it’s #anyonebutvassili vs #teamvass .

Fletcher is not fun? Then how to explain my grin everytime I play as Fletcher? :smile:

However, for the sake of the “Gashapon” aspect of Dirty Bomb, yeah… maybe someone else should win. I mean, the Culprit case would at least cough up a “new” Merc in my growing collection (I already have a Cobalt Fletcher and a Suspect Stoker).

In that Vending Machine Toy Collector aspect, I actually don’t mind if I get a unique Proxy or a unique Vassili card or something. These little random “Gashapon Capsules” are part of the fun for me.

I honestly want fragger to Win all of the Other Mercs I never EVER! play them, i fnd the 3 of them Boring and Anti-fun to play with and against but i am sure Proxy will be winning because she is so easy to play and get kills and insta defuse OBJ with, i really hate Proxy in MULTIPLE aspects
