at the moment arty is one fo the things ppl dont like all that much due to how long it lasts and the affect it has one things, i reckon the lts binoc abilty should be to mark a vertical and horzitonal markerfor mortar fire with a lower affect to the energy bar, cos arty kinda makes the mortar a bit reduntant, tho it can be very good.
Arty idea
i dunno arty is a major spam weapon that gets kills easy with no effort, with no limits 2-3 lts can pretty much make sure the tank is never not being shelled, a lvled up lt can fire off arty almost ona fter the other.
Erm how about countering with more artys in ares where the enemy can see the tank?
How about some covertops popping peope off?
That’s not a bad idea. At the moment the arty is totally controlling the game, it’s a lot of new players to the community aren’t happy that they can’t repair the tank or bridge due to arty spam.
Field ops should mark the place, which would give the Mortar Soldier a easy line up, and he can fire say 4 rounds fast. The mortar would be better if it had unlimted ammo, and using it on a recharge bar. To allow this to happen.
Same thing would happen again, but it takes more skill.
ya that sounds good daalig even more ammo at spawn would be good for arty guy.
Well I came to the conclusion it’s hard to tell how the gameplay balances out without several weeks of playing. There’s always something to counter attack something else. Like Mr.Magnetic Head says, you could use co-ops or other artilery to counter the Lts, or a decent sniper could get a shot in. And remember there’s the bridge route too. Get some players round the back door and take em from behind - ooo err!
What I’d like to see is the actual mortar soldier being able to use binoculars to mark his own targets. I think having a lieut mark a target is good for clan games but on public servers the chances of a lt marking a target with a mortar soldier in mind are slim.
its just hard to stop a lt tho he takes like a second to make a target i just hit b clik and done, tkaes like 30seconds or more to build the bridge at best.
