Just curious as to how many are planning to pay for the early beta access, and to what level.
Personally I can see myself going for the Veteran level…

I’d probably go for Elite. However, I’m not doing it untill I’m more certain about how the game plays. If the game is good, I’d be happy to pay afterwards. I just hope they add paysafecard to the payment options, since I still refrain from using my creditcard on the internet. If their business model is like League of Legends and if I enjoy it as much, I’d buy cosmetic extra’s.
Definitely gonna grab Veteran, and depending on how things progress I may grab elite.
Aaah I don’t know, I really want into the beta but I want to know if what I get is actually worth $60 because I would get the elite pack. Need to know if it is worth it at first. They released the packs without telling us how their monetization is going to work and what’s worth what, we don’t even have the name of the ingame money they will use yet, and none of it comes with any of these purchase deals.
i got veteran since i’ve enjoyed their other games even though i’m not a fan of their half-assed approach lately. neorussia, your tf2 playtime is insane. please seek help.
After pre-ordering Brink at full price on PC and not having anyone left to play with within a few weeks, along with being burned on a couple of other free to play titles in the past, I don’t see myself paying any money until I’ve tried it. If I get access to closed beta and it seems good I may be willing to buy a $30-$60 founders pack, but definitely not the $120. No game is worth that much money to me unless it’s going to fund server costs that wouldn’t apply to a game like this.
I was thinking Legendary and then noticed that this is F2P and none of the packs come with in-game currency so I am holding out until more information is released or they update the packs.
Here is a tip and I hope SD listens. If they made a pack that included server rental for x amount of time guaranteeing a server on release that is cheaper, A lot of people would buy it even if it was only part of something like the legendary pack. Heck, I would buy it. You can guarantee my purchase. Please do this.
i bought veteran. i dont think i will ever pay more than that for a free 2 play game
Already paid for Veteren. A little bit reluctant to give SD any money after Brink, but I guess I’m a sucker for the hype, it promises to be a PC game, not a console port like Brink, and by offering a beta one can only hope they’ve learnt some lessons from what they did wrong with Brink.
I went Contributor.
I’m getting too old to care about playing most games… don’t have the time to catch up on the ones I’ve wanted to play either. Especially with anything AAA these days, the vast majority of them disappoint.
If there’s a chance to revisit the challenge and fun of the good ole days of W:ET, I want to at least know I had a chance to throw my input at the developer to try and make it happen.
I’m done bouncing from title to title. I want to pick a few games that are proper “games,” and stick to those for more than “a” year, let alone a month or two. As far as arcade/non-sim FPS’ing goes, I want this to be my game of choice.

I will pay for beta access not priority beta offers.
I think the term priority is causing some confusion.
I see it as meaning, “You guys will all get beta access before we offer it to anyone else, e.g. press.”
But it would be good to get some clarification…
Here’s what Priority Access means:
Guaranteed access at least one month before Open Beta. Priority invite to the Closed Beta in early 2013, plus the chance of invitation to the Closed Alpha running now.
Thanks badman but i believe most of us here already know that.
What i’m saying is that getting immediate alpha/beta access (not priority) with reasonable
price (30$ is fine) to support the game is reasonable if you believe is this title.
I’ll prefer waiting one more month and getting to the open beta for free instead
of paying and hope for alpha/beta access for a reasonable time (not month before).
I don’t know, I think 1 month guaranteed closed beta and a chance for alpha is ok. I wish the packs had some f2p in-game currency for launch though. Well I payed regardless, I just don’t really see anything useful in the packs except for early access. Nonetheless, I am supporting the development.
I’m waiting for more informaiton before thinking on paying anything, maybe getting Veteran, if I grow a bit more interest, maybe elite.
