Are you happy with the 1% chance of an event skin in the regular event cases?
Well I can’t say that I’m happy with the drop rate, but I sure can’t say that it should be higher.
The fact that they’ve added in the boosters means that everybody who plays a significant amount of time during this event should get an event card or 2 (if they put cycles into boosters) which is a significant improvement over the last 2 events where some people who played for dayz got nothing.
Just keep in mind that while drop chance increased from 0.3% to 1%, the case price went up accordingly - from 1000 to 3500.

Not necessarily true. This is why we don’t know how the boosters work. If they multiply each other this might mean for instance that 5-6 boosters are like 5% to get guaranteed case from the 30% to get a drop at end of a match, which is laughable for 60 000 credits. On the other hand - I will laugh at the guy who spends 120k for 10 boosters to get one guaranteed case for 1 out of 4 mercs, each with 9 loadouts and be happy about this
No wonder they don’t want to share how the boosters work.
I’m definitely not touching those with such price tag.
It seems fair given you can increase your chances of a guaranteed case dropping with those boosters.
Yeh with the boosters I should be able to get a grand total of 5 completely random loadout cards with my hard earned credits…
Like, I’m not happy with it, but I can’t honestly argue that we deserve a higher number.
I don’t think the drop rate should be too high. It makes these cards unique. You get some enjoyment out of having them, like being part of an exclusive club became not everyone has it.
It’s already a big improvement from the previous events. This event is a lot longer, we have the opportunity to boost our chances, and the drop chances have increased by a significant amount. There is also less RNG, since merc loadouts drop depending on the week. I think it’s safe to say that if a person plays regularly, it is almost impossible for them to not get at least 1 or 2 limited edition cards if they try.

Pls Sir, credits for the poor. jk that is a lot of credits man!
The payed for pack only has a 10% chance, so lol
You have to buy like 15 packs to get a skin with those chances. The fact that they’re selling 10 packs as a bundle for 35€ means they’re directly evaluating the value of one random event skin to 35€. What the hell. Seriously fuck off
It’s not. You’re paying 3.5x price for 3.33x chance. But you also get 3.5x less cards overall, which means less chances for other rarities.
Example. Let’s say you spend 7k credits on cases:
7 cases WtD/CW: 7 x 0.3% for special loadout, 7 x 0.4% Gold, 7x0.1% Cobalt
2 cases ReV: 2 x 1% for special loadout, 2x 0.4 Gold, 2x0.1% Cobalt
It’s gets a tiny bit better when you’re buying 100k credit cycle packages, but not by much. The special loadout ratio gets to CW/WtD levels, but you have 3,5x less chances for other bling.
