They do post, but they aren’t posting everywhere where it would be sorely needed, for example here:

I CCCCCC UUUUUUU :suspicious:
HEEEEEEEREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES JOHNY

:eek3: :eek2:
For what it’s worth, I’ve been following that thread since it started, but I don’t like to comment because I don’t think it’s necessarily our place to influence what is and isn’t acceptable in to the ET community in those kind of cases. Now that you’ve mentioned it, though…
As far as the Oasis wall jump goes, the wall is supposed to be an obstacle to hinder your progress, but you could, if you wanted, simply stack a couple of players in front of it and jump over it that way, without using any real skill.
'Course, the Axis team might not be too willing to stand by and watch as you did it, but the principle is the same :). It’s balanced by the fact that you can’t permanently claim the old city until you do blow the wall, so I don’t personally see a problem with it…
It’s not as explicit as “the map designer knew you could do the jump”, but it’s not “if we had realized you could do it, we would have made the wall higher” either… I guess it’s it’s as close to an “official anmesty for wall jumpers” as we will ever get
No wonder he was so reluctant to take a stand–we’re such a tough crowd, nothing is ever good enough.
A: “Is it blue or yellow?”
B: “Dunno, I sure wish the developers would chime in and tell us for once and for all.”
Wils: “Well, we hesitate to jump in on community matters, but I’ll just let you know: it’s blue.”
A: “Fuck you, SplashDamage! I thought you would say ‘yellow!’”
… your example was a bad one at that =P in your example Wils answers the question saying its blue in Wils answer above he doesnt actually say anything about the wall jump being a exploit or not he deviates about saying you could stack if wanted so yeah… bad example lol
why is everyone attacking on what wils said, i mean yeah hes a person, but his answer doesnt seem to have any more of impact than anyone elses would have. how come when they do post the world stops and everyone listens to what they say and then either agrees completly or completly disagrees. i dont get it?
the simple fact that im refering to the designers as they even shows that i think there different. but there not. there just people posting at a message board.
Look. Fusen. The leagues have a “no stacking” rule. The leagues don’t have a rule against un-aided jumps. How fucking hard do you have to make this?
To understand the Splashdamage team better, watch the Lickable Wallpaper scene in Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory when the one girl complains that there’s no such thing as snozzberries. Willy Wonka’s response to that complaint should be the Splash Damage team’s response.
There’s no such thing as…
Oh.
Ach well, there goes that Snozzberry Orchard ET MP map we were going to release…
:moo:
The wall jump rox, it takes more skill to climb over than blow it up imo :bump:
trik jumps & strafeings what makes the game/q3ingin what it is…
whos attacking what he said?
i merely commented on the fact that msot of the posts SP make arrnt always about the topic in question no one said omg that was a crap post or anything like that =P
and rgoer your reply doesnt justify anything as we all know the leagues view on the jump but someone was asking the developers whatb they thought
*Hushed whisper…
“Sometimes, if you give SD members a cookie, it’ll help them to “remember” things, like, for example, everything I want to know about the upcoming D3”
OR…
Your can give them this ------->
And watch them upchuck, both are equally satisfying
