anyone played the BF2142 demo?

Well I have been playing BF2 for over a year now. Prior to that I played C:ET for about a year but to be honest BF2, in my mind, is more fun. C:ET is a haven for script kiddies and sad little twats who like to use aim bots and hacks.

BF2 is now becoming like that and I know my time with it is limited because as soon as I start quitting out of games because of hackers is the day I uninstall it.

I will NOT be downloading the BF2142 demo or buying the game for that because I tried the beta version and I played for about 1 hour before deciding it was a complete waste of time.

I personally will be waiting for QW to arrive and will be moving over to that. I have a lot of faith that QW will be a great gaming experience after my experience with C:ET. The balance of the maps etc far outweigh those in BF series and the objectives and team work eliments in teh game is what I enjoy more in a game.

Dont get me wrong I love BF2 I do enjoy the sandbox part of the game it means I can play it my way and not be limited when on a side with smacktards but BF2142 or QW in my mind is equivalent to…hummm…which would I prefre in bed… Margaret Thatcher or
Jennifer Garner…lol no contest :slight_smile:

Mate I find people like you rather funny, I posted in a thread dedicated to the bf2142 demo, the thread asked had anyone played it, people have been giving their opinion of the game, I posted giving my opinion last I looked forums such as these are about discussion in which people give their opinion, my post gave my opinion backed by what I didnt like about, my post was not merely a bash Battlefield like you seem to think.

Its truly amazing how someone can come along to a discussion forum, provide an opinion and be told to not do so by someone like you who finds it annoying to read an opinion on a discussion forum because its an opinion you do not like, so your tired of the whinging? Sorry to hear that, but you choose to open the thread and read the post, nobody forced you into this, if you dont want to read peoples opinions then do not do so.

Further, coming into a thread stating your tired of hearing an opinion futher suggests that perhaps you should not be visiting a discussion forum, add to that, coming into a thread and stating “if the series was as bad as the spoiled little brats keep saying it is” well, I dont understand you, your tired of peoples opinions but you dont mind calling someone a little brat for posting an opinion you dont like.

For the record champ I am 46 years old, I do not think that puts me in the little bratt category and considering my annual income I dont think I can be placed in the spoilt category either.

It is interesting that you say “you reserve the right to bitch about anything you find nonsense” yet nobody else has the right to post their opinion in a discussion forum which is all about discussion and opinions.

To my thinking, to come along into a discussion thread and have digs at people, calling them spoilt little brats and telling them to shut up and get over it, but to then reserve the right to bitch about whatever you like simply makes such a person a hypocrite. May I suggest that perhaps you do not read threads you may find offense and perhaps avoid forums altogether, may be you should stick to msn.
