Anyone else over level 10 never play competitive?

I used to play comp with a group of friends, who quit the game around the aimpunch update. It was usually a stomp against disorganized randoms, got me up to Gold 3. Haven’t played comp since, though I’d consider it if I could find a non-tryhard team. Most of those posts in the clan recruitment subforum intimidate me.

Get off your high-horse buddy, some people don’t like comp for legitimate reasons and you have no right to deny them their opinion. The only excuse here is your attitude towards the situation, and it’s a poor excuse.
Those reasons aren’t legitimate unless one speaks from personal experience and take into account how many competitive matches one has played.
If one never plays competitive then one is simply parroting what is generally said and the reasons listed then have little merit.

It’s not a matter of being on a high-horse but actually having played many competitive matches myself and coming to a different conclusion, which certainly has more merit with the actual experience of what competitive brings about.
It’s frankly a disservice to the DB player-base if one keeps spreading the same old rhetoric about competitive without actually ever playing competitive because of held beliefs.
@Vinos If that’s the case then why did you feel the need to blast them with “you’re just afraid”?

It’s not a disservice to share your opinion in a constructive manner, it’s feedback.

I dislike stopwatch. Is that not a legitimate reason?
Depending on the arguments provided of why you don’t like it, it either stays legitimate or not. The ones OP provided are not justifiable as they aren’t true as often as presumed.
lol you don’t need a reason for disliking stuff.

“-I dislike brocoli ; - you need a legitimate reason!” xd

You see, it’s funny because you went from “you’re all just scared of comp” to “the correct and proper conduct of arguments”.

I am level 32 South Korean Dirty Bomb gamer in ASIA server.

There is literally NO PEOPLE who plays competitive match in Asia server…

0 population. I tried to play it because I wanted to prove my self that I’m good, but even after 2 hours of queue, I failed to have a single match.

(KayDubz) #48

??? Except I dont pubstomp everyday. Half the time I do mediocre, a quarter of a time I may be toward the top of the table or leading, and a quarter of the time I get wrecked. Pubs have good matches in them too with skilled players.

If I find matches with several people over level 8 or 9, I know Ill have a good match. And if several people are over level 15 I know I may lose. Im good at the game but not amazing, and I dont mind losing. I just want to have fun and play good matches.

Competitive mode didnt give me that whenever I tried in the past. Nevermind being forced to play long Stopwatch matches. I much prefer Objective.

i support discussing stuff and asking for reasons. but claiming people have no ‘legitimate reasons’ to dislike stuff is pure BS, and you will be called on it : )
