I’ve definitely been playing less for the last month or so. I don’t think it’s so much the game getting boring, just that I’ve had enough of playing most days for now. No harm in that, I suppose. Looking forward to seeing whatever this big patch is this month either way.
Anyone else getting bored?
Im not bored of it but there are others game which I enjoy playing more and they dont feel like the same thing over and over again.
I was bored until I started my road to Elite rank. It’s actually fun and we go up against good teams a lot like DINK and other awesome teams
ofc not doing exactly what you want in any given moment and instead deferring to the behaviours and tactics of your team is adultlike behaviour and some people (a lot) simply cannot and will not bring this attitude into a video game (a leisure activity)
I’m getting bored of constantly being put on bad teams, my W/L ratio must be like 0.1 because of this, it’s bloody ridiculous.
Yeah.
-unbalanced teams, believe it or not I get bored very easily stomping the other team, for me it is just complete waste of time, my greatest victories are those when I join a team and help team to make breakthrough/make stand even though we would lose at the end
-lack of maps nd some problems with current ones which makes them sometimes painful to play and repeat
-no chance of playing 6-8vs6-8 “more seriously” than on pubs where people can leave and do whatever they like (no medics, no engis, just fragging)
-kind of tired of spectating suspected hackers and they are more frequent than while back so people are on edge about it
-some minor issues that pile up to annoy now and then
-disrespect of own team or the other team in chat, people in general acting like kids
-that freaking loading screen…
But, but…it’s only beta and after some new maps and mercs, it still more than I can say any other game out there. And I think some issues might be related to me personally since I don’t have friends that play DB and I’m kind of picky of certain things.
Currently those moments of fun are few and far between periods of “not again” and “maybe I come back later, it must be better then” so I could justify some friend of mine picking it up since I have problems with it.
Then again I have other things my life so it’s kind of two way street anyways, I don’t have time and even less I have time if I’m not having fun. But, it’s what it is. Deal with it.
And yes, these are more of boredom issues for me rather than something to get utterly annoyed or rage about as in life there are much more important concerns. Of course when you want to have fun, it is supposed to feel like fun and not work/bore.

And that’s why you’re part of the problem. This a team game, a multiplayer game, where everyone has to do their part. If you’re wondering why you’re having a bad time, THAT IS WHY.
If you’re a Medic, revive, if you’re a Objective Specialist, plant those bombs, repair the ev, defuse, if you’re a Support merc, throw down that ammo.
There is literally no excuse for this mindset of I will play how I want when I want, and expect to win because of it.
This, as well as working my way up to a cobalt Kira or Phoenix.
I’m also overhyping myself for Stoker’s release, and if he isn’t released in the next update, then I’ll just go to my little corner and cry…

A miscommunication perhaps, I’m talking not about you.
I’m not even sure people who behave this way can be credited with the expectation of winning when they don’t seem to understand the requirements of winning (a positive kdr is not winning)
The main reasons why I don’t feel like playing much anymore:
A ) I can join whichever regular server, and usually everyone else are level 1-10 ish, and awful at the game. Joining min10 servers is a chore, and not always possible.
B ) No sense of community in-game, because servers are just numbers, with no personality, and we are treated like a herd.
C ) Having to rely on team mates giving ammo, while the majority are too goddamn dumb or ignorant to give any. Or alternatively you can run to an ammo box and stand there doing nothing for a minute.
D ) Lack of new content, and failure to fix major bugs.
600 hours here.
Haven’t played for a couple of weeks. Not a happy feeling when you’ve got to wait half a minute just for a match to load. Might as well exit?
350h in ~15 weeks. Sometimes frustration gets to me, like when I’m the only one interested in pushing the EV the last few meters on Chapel. I treat missions as limiters, I do them in 30-60 minutes and stop playing. I think that helps not overdosing

You and me both…
Community made maps with community run servers is what this game needs to give people an incentive to carry on playing.
That’s gonna create brony/weeaboo and achievement servers like in TF2.
I don’t want the server browser to be full of ACHIEVEMENT SERVER/ FAST CREDITS or BRONY BOMB XDD whenever I open it.
Same here. I stopped playing by myself now that I’ve gotten all mercs and I just play when my friend wants to play. On my own the game just became a broken record…

Yea, I think I did misinterpret your post. I read as “people who try hard take the game too seriously and make it less fun”.
My bad
