It’s hard enough getting girls to play computer games anyway, why not letting them do whatever they want (be it all-girl leagues or clans)?

I don’t believe in all girls leagues (or mixed team leagues for that matter) simply because you’d have to start verifying gender, but at a LAN it would be fine (they’ve had all-girl Quake tourneys at qcon).

I don’t even know how to respond to “women are totally equal to men” other than “thank god they’re not”. :moo:

Since you didn’t get my post… I ment that in the clanworld you see a lot of men running the show, simply because they were the ones who started to play games on the pc first. (then known as geeks) Later on in time, gaming went to become what it is now; something for everybody. So women in general started to get interested too (games especially designed for women) and slowly are getting to be common. All things surrounding gaming like running a clan is therefor also something that came later for them.

With the reflection i ment… the above situation is similiar to reallife. Men ran the world first, women got equal only much later. (i am not debating the WHY in that)

So… conclusion; I promote it, the sooner more and more women get their behinds online, the better. Coz let’s face it… a world without women would stink.
