My ET pretty much locks up at the create profile screen. I have a SIS AG315-64 video card and I’m running DirectX 9.0c. Only the menu screens are SUPER slow. I can’t seem to join any servers, and The program is pretty much not working. Any Ideas?
Any known poroblems with SIS Video cards?

Get an nvidia or ATI card. A quick google indicate that card dates from 2001, and was a budget card even then. Failing that, make sure you have the latest drivers, but don’t expect much. The review I found showed peformance similar to a gf2 mx-200, which most people don’t find acceptable for ET. With a little looking you should be able to find a much better, mainstream brand card for < $50.
