I need to get this ASAP, as my Celeron 533MHz PC can’t play ANY of the games that I currently own (Bf1942, CoD, UO, RtCW, etc.) Will it be able to play QW on the lowest settings and the absolute ugliest tweaks?

Why does this forum move so slowly? Also, I’m switching out the 7300GT 512 with an 7600GS 256.

I’d doubt it tbh. And your PSU is gettin it tight as well, get a 400W. Best bet is try the demo on a similar PC if you can.

Im playing it with a 7300 gt and a 4400+, it runs fine, ive already played it on a 2400+ (not so fine)

If you tweak the config files it will definitly run with a 7300gt and a 3400+ (my opinion)

think about an extra gig of RAM

you know you will by a helicopter (or at least something as loud as one)?

Well, the PSU Calculator Lite says only 275W, and that’s with 50% capacitator aging and 100% CPU Utilization.

bigger power supply for sure, that’s one place to NEVER go cheap, the 7600 should be fine, I can run QW on a 3500+ with onboard 6150, not well, but it runs

8400GS would work just fine. But an 8600GT would be better.

Well with those two video cards, maybe you can run them both. You’ll probably get pretty good FPS with those two video cards. Maybe…
