i have an objection, its just gona confuse the origonal map, whitch is far better, with this peice of crap

i would hate to see this map on a server

oh and BTW SD had nothing to do with RTCW, nothing at all, the didnt do anything, they made ET

Either that map is REALLY ugly or I’ve just spent too much time with FarCry…

It doesn’t even look like they compiled it with the proper shadows or anything.

Ummmm, about half the maps in the GOTY map pack were made by Splash Damage…

Just to say I know the person modifying mg map and it was not intended to be released yet. He was just looking for opinions when next thing you know its put out all over. :slight_smile: The lighting wasn’t even done yet. People just want something new for rtcw and couldn’t wait. Thats what happens when you open your presents early.:slight_smile: Redoing it has brought alot of peoples interest into mapping.

and just where is the ET version damnit… TSG/MOD marketgarden was the best map/server combo… just need it for et… been waiting a year and not a soul has converted it… other maps however have made it over :angry:

Sorry, I skipped the ET conversion and went straight to CoD/Call of Duty. Too bad CoD’s gameplay lacks soo much compared with RTCW. =)

Thanks for the kind words on the server. I don’t run it anymore, but still drop by from time to time to say hello… and plant!

ferris - no this is Call of Duty; based ont he same engine (RTCW->ET->COD… from an admin’s perspective, it’s pretty much the same thing)

yea I do play mg every now … but I get bad lag there so its rare I show up… sooooo any chance I can talk you into a conversion for et :stuck_out_tongue:
it will get much play I guarenttee it … especially with the new rtcwmod for et… where all the weapons from rtcw have the values they used to

so its like playing rtcw with new weapons and a new class :clap:

a lot of my old rtcw buddies are stuck in rtcw because they didnt like et… with the mod however there is a lot of talk about coming over to ‘darkside’ (et)…

I know burt reynolds loves MG and he loves my mod… can you say rebirth of {MoD} mg for et-land :drink:

Hehe, I just happen to have a pretty nice FreeBSD 5.2 server sitting on a 622 Mbit OC12 connection… for… just such an occasion.

I’ll drop by the rtcw-for-et mod and have a look-see. =)

Market Garden for ET???

OH heck yea! Someone please get this done. It was a fantastic map for RTCW, possibly the best. I am surprised someone hasn’t done it sooner, unless it violates someone’s copyright and they would not consent, which would be lame on their part if you ask me, especially since RTCE is unfortunately an all-but-dead game now. sniffles
