I doubt it has something to do with what you are running. When I got kicked, I only had steam and Razer Synapse open. Most likely a bug since I was just able to rejoin and play for an hour.

Xigncode did, and until we’re told this doesn’t I’m going to assume it does. I just want to know what it looks for and what sort of punishment it deals out. Because getting instantly banned forever because you’re running something that is not a cheat is retarded. I doubt it’s the case with the new AC, but I want to be sure.

I got kicked for playing with a ping of 16, then it went to around 890 then a messaged said that I am banned from the server.

It’s defiantly the new anti-cheat update that’s kicking people out. I’ve played for 129 hours and never been kicked out of server but today after update, first match I was playing as a medic and got kicked for possessively cheating???

Hey guys, don’t panic. It is day 1 of this new anticheat and we really appreciate and need the patience. We are monitoring all reports and kicks. If you aren’t doing anything wrong you’ll be fine. There are definitely kicks happening with that error message that is related to a crash. @Ghosthree3, we can’t release a list of bannable programs because people would then know what to look out for and try to find ways around it. However, again, if you aren’t doing anything wrong you have nothing to worry about. We are investigating and keeping a close eye on reports.

just created smurf account and went to lvl5 servers only, you know that feelings newbies dont know map and so on and I can lead the way but thats not my point. Point is, now I understand why player base is so low. Imagine, newbies, new players to this game, DELETED cheater. And it was massacre. He was on my team I noticed it there were no enemies on the map. They were just killed instantly after respawn.

So we have new anticheat and I just witnessed its not working at all. I feel very sorry for new players because this will make them to uninstall this beautiful game off SSD’s

If this is anticheat I was waiting for, sorry, it is not.
I explained them how to report this lowend creature, but… we know its just cosmetic shutup for better feeling someone may do soemthing with him… but will not.

So If possible, remove lvl5 servers only so more experienced players may help newbies how to deal with this situation, at least how to report it or just to join other server or whatever. Or add autokick system on lvl5 only servers when someone with more kills will be kicked or higher accuracy or more kills per minute …

@chicHouse No Anti-cheat is a magic bullet. It is very likely that it will not stop all hacks and it definitely won’t stop them all right away. The point of the new anti-cheat is that it has been tailored to Dirty Bomb. It is exceptionally more easy to lock down programs and detect cheaters as well as deal with any potential false positive at the same time.

This gives Nexon a significantly greater degree of control and a massive boost in response time over what Xigncode3 provided.

Plain and simple, there is no magic bullet to kill the hacking monster. But the tool now released will give Nexon a considerable advantage.

yeah sorry I forgot that. Im just so… pi**ed on them, i mean cheaters. I know nothing can stop cheaters but whats the point of standing next to respawn and killing players on the spot? Theres no fun in it. I can understand some old people want to play but brain damage sickness wont allow them steady hand so thats ok for me, use it but play, focus on objective. Blatant cheating without any purpose just kill-wait -kill - this make no sense to me. Why they just dont play singleplayer games with IDDQD and IDKFA code on?

anticheat has never removed all cheaters.

a new anticheat is going to require some tuning and some has statistical analysis methods and they usually have to gather data for a couple a weeks before working properly and thats if everything goes smooth, there may be a lot of false positives and such in the beginning
so expect at least a month before it works

this is just my general understanding of how it works based on a couple a years on different game forums, not hard facts

as I remember, for example ETQW. but yeah, punbuster did its job but it was many years ago. Technology advanced so hackers too. But we have somenrting. Its called private dedicated servers with live admin on it. In ETQW this was top AC. IP ban and problem solved.

Nice to see something new has been released already, although I’m sure it won’t be perfect right from the get go (nothing really is), I’m excited to see it progress… wish you lots of luck guys, keep up the good work!

Even though we get kicked every now and then, I think we need to appreciate that there is an anti-cheat. I didn’t see any cheater around after the update and I hope the DB team can keep it that way. @Mister__Wiggles That’s indeed very annoying. Whenever you play better than others they take the opportunity to start a vote kick and hope the better player gets kicked out, even though you just play the game. Luckily it doesn’t happen too often. @MissMurder Only got kicked once, played the whole night without issues.
