another bug - possible exploit - post it or not?

I’ve found a bug and possible exploit yesterday. have mercy if it is already known…

the bug exploit works both with garand and k43.

it will switch your view to the current sniper zoomstep without the sniper crosshair and tunnelview. note that shooting will be handled as if your’e not in zoom mode, with huge spread and all that. nevertheless I think it can be exploited to have an advantage when searching for possible targets.

now what do you suggest I should do?
-just post the how to
-forget about it, because it’s not important and no one cares
-pm a developer
-tell bani/shrub
-something completely different :moo:

don’t want to be blamed for making exploits known, given the fact that there might not be a fix for vanilla ET in the future because the lack of new patches…

Seriously, i would inform a modder because the developers wont do shit
“dont take that as offensive” about it.

You can all hope for a patch, and if it comes were lucky. But dont hold ur breath, so the best thing 2 do is inform bani or shrub in the hope they can fix it. {imo}
