Alt Gr - Top Shooters - Crashes ET

This may or may not have been posted before but I couldn’t fine any relevance on search so here is the problem… Sometimes whenever I press Alt Gr to view the top shooter table in the game, the game crashes, it might crash the first time I use or it might crash the 10th time etc. I have tested different versions of Gfx Drivers etc… like 3.7 all the way up to the current 4.2 and still no luck, I have tried it with different different settings on my graphics like Fastwrite on and off. And I also tested my memory with memtest 86 and its all fine. I’m baffled, my CPU is overclocked, but it crashes when it is underclocked so this is not the problem. Yes, also got the latest ET patch.

This actually happened to me the other night for the first time… I had hit ctrl but wanted to hit alt instead (I was viewing the wrong stats) but I ended up hitting them both at the same time and my game locked up on me =(

I haven’t been able to reinact it but I gotta say, I wasn’t too impressed when it happened the first time.

This is because…
Pressing ALT + CTRL will bring up both the Top shooters and personal stats windows. If you want to crash ET, go press ALT + CTRL at the same time for a few mins :slight_smile:

( ALT GR is ALT + CTRL… depending on your keyboard / language settings )

Yeh its a reported bug. Dunno if you say, change the bind for either (+topshots +stats is it?) and it wont happen, im guessing its the fact you bring both of em up at the same time, not the keys your using to do it with.

Alt Gr is my walk button, I use it all the time and no crashes here :confused:
(unless you mean the problem is topshots and stats both showing at once… I have them on other keys)

yeh, them both coming up at the same time is being the mean thingie!

I have the crash too (1 out of 10 times i do it), but only with ALT, i do not press CTRL at the same time. Its irritating indeed.

I dont have a problem with Alt OR Control on there own. Its when both together. Also did it when bound to other keys so its deffo a Topshot/Stat at same time problem, not a ALT/CTRL key problem.
