Nice having discussions with you all. It’s been a lot of fun and it’s been a daily ritual to visit these forums every second of the day, but I’m out for good. Learned tonight that I’m really not good at this game as I thought I was and it’s really getting to me. I just no longer enjoy the game, no longer have fun. I wish it weren’t the case cause I imagined myself playing this game for a long time. I guess it’s as simple as things change. Hope you all get as much out of ET as I did! It’s been fun! I got tired of the good old ET myself the last month. It is just the feeling that every game gives you eventually: Been there done that!

Well I still play ET here and then, but when Commandos 3, Hidden and Dangerous 2 or Victoria comes out, I am out of here!

A couple of weeks ago I was getting really pissed off with ET. It seemed like every server was infested with XP whores, there were even more “new players” than ever before, hardly anyone was trying to achieve the objectives, and my own game was going downhill to boot.

But I have to admit I’m now enjoying ET again. I think you just need a break now and again. Try a few other games and you’ll appreciate what’s so great about ET. I can’t see anything now or on the horizon that’s going to take me away from it permanently.

So your saying that a game for you is only fun when you own everyone? Well I can’t say I understand the reason for quitting but it’s your decision. 50% of the reason I play is to increase my skill and get better, more or less the only reason I play on pubs even. But then I have my clan for the competitive aspect and reason for it.

I’m not saying that " Waaaaah… I can only kill everybody 13 times before I die once it’s fuckin bullshit." I’ve just been playing nonstop since the first RtCW test came out. I’m just burnt out I guess. Maybe all I need is some time off but if I continue to play my hand is going to be going through my monitor and I don’t want to do that because I love my precious monitor. :frowning:

And sure, maybe I was a bit inebriated last night so I made my post to be a lot more than I really should have… a tad embarassing but I did it so I’ll leave it. :drink:
