I think all snipers need a nerf when in close range combat. Let me start by saying that I commend anyone with the skill to pull off a headshot at close range. Snipers should have the capacity to do what they are intended to do and nothing more. No matter the skill no one should be able to snipe a merc with 140 health for instance fragger who is much more suited for close range in a quarter of the time it takes him with his m4. That’s why I think snipers should receive a nerf to their sniper whenever within close and going for a head shot or any other part of the body. Make it so they can only do 99% of the players current health in damage. By close range I mean like 5 feet away or so maybe more 8 feet? This way you would change the way snipers would play against someone rushing their face.
Forgot about the PDP oh my fucking god the PDP. I am a god with that weapon I can pretty much kill anyone with it no problem at close, mid or far range. A good idea would be to make it if you miss your first shot the dmg of the weapon decreases or stays at its default damage and if you hit the damage increases(up to certain point maybe 25 or 35). Possibly starting at lower damage than it is now by like 15 or 10 hP. Also to prevent ppl from doing waay to well with this weapon limit the rounds to about 5 or 6 per clip. Almost forgot lol to prevent PDP users from using it up close lowers the fire rate by 2 or 1 sec. This is just an idea tell me what you think please. o:)
Forgot to add this too lol. Lower or raise the nerf based on the maps size. So if it’s terminal maybe the range becomes 4 feet instead of the 6 for train yard.
