All Snipers Need A Nerf

I completely agree with this post. The amount of minimum recoil and fire rate of snipers in this game is ridiculous compared to all other fps I have played. They are far OP, it takes 0 skill to be a dominate sniper in dirtybomb.

Mmhhh why i’m sure you actually don’t dominate with a sniper rifle and you are just bragging?
I’m no pro but it definitely take skill to headshot moving targets. Sure if you stay still you can’t complain you get killed.

Yes sniping in dirtybomb is extremely easy due to the ridiculously low recoil with sniper rifles and combined with the client side hit detection is the other problem. Sniper rifles all need a significant increase in recoil if we are talking balancing.

What are you talking about? Sniper rifles already have a significant recoil, if you miss your shot you have to re-take the proper aim. Also MOA and FEL already have slow enough fire-rate to balance things out.
If you think sniping is so easy walk why don’t you just do it already instead of complaining? Maybe because you don’t and you are pissed good snipers blow your head up?

The sniper recoil is very little compared too all other fps, allowing very fast consistent repeat fire. I find it way too easy and not a challenge.

Compared to what? Dirty Bomb is not “other fps”, the sniper rifles are balanced in the way the game works (fast paced). If you don’t like it you can either adapt or change game, since sniper rifles won’t get nerfed anytime soon (on the contrary devs are considering a FEL-IX buff).

i have no need to adapt, i already dominate with sniper rifles too easily because they have too little recoil, its not balanced.

My 2 cents,

The sniper is no way op here, yes it’s easier to play compared to some other games, but it’s nowhere game breaking.

My only complain is the instant gib, I believe this is OP, but we have to wait for more high skilled games/ tournaments to see the real effect of it.
