HI all

I am create a new Map for ET. The name is “Prisoner of War” an it is an objectiv-map.
I start to build the map at 1.08.2003 and the first shoot´s are form 10.08.2003.
The Story:
An Allied-Airplane was taken down by axis . In the airplane was an agent with a secret filmbox. he was catch by the axis “Wehrmacht” and was send to the prison "Stalag III " .bevor he spoken with the axis he hide the Filmbox at a secret place.The allied must searching the Filmbox and taken it and save it,bevor the axis found it.

There are two ways from the allied-spawnpoint to the “Stalag III”
Frist over two buildet brigdes and second thrugh an tunnel were the Comandpost and the Spawnflag is.

Map name: Vargas
Setting: somewhere in the Ande’s mountaints
Dsecription: Ok. I’ve only just begun. I’ve researched anchient meso-american civilizations (such as azects, incans, and mayans) and have a few basic ideas. 1) I want the objective to be a sacred religous object believed to have great power
2.) I want the map to slope upwards in terraces surrounded by moutains on all sides
3.) I will make a few paths winding through the moutains in the realy authentic meso-american way
4) I will make the main part of the map. (the temple of vargas) Appear as it is just being dug up.
5.) At the allied spawn point I want to place many materials that the axis would ned for the operation
6.) I’m going to surround the temple by descening terraces with various houses, palaces,a and watchtowers scattered around

Ok thats enough for now. this is my first post here so hello everybody! :clap:

This is the first map I’ve ever created for a FPS game and it all stared as
just a test of the tools and what is involved in making a map for an FPS game.

There is still quite a lot to do and all the time new things that needs fixing
pops up so I don’t know when (or even IF it will ever be finished).

Map name: Decoder HB38

Map description: The axis have stolen the top secret HB38 decoder and
moved it to a heavily guared research facility in the northern part of
Norway. There they will try to use it to decode the allied radio
transmissions in the north Atlantic.

The allies must try to destroy the decoder before the axis figures out the
technology and starts using it.

As a security measure the axis have created three fake decoder crates
and placed each crate in a different location in the research facility. The
allies can either blow up all the crates hoping to destroy the correct one
early or they can try finding clues to where the real decoder is stored.

Here’s a screenshot of my map. This is my very first map and now i know what it really means to create a map (whew). This project began in May 2003.

I haven’t added any lighting other than from ambient and sky, so the colors may look bland. It’s close to a 50/50 indoor/outdoor map. It’s a dual objective map. Dynomyte the two flak guns.

As the story goes: An initial allied covert strike on the flaktower ended in partial failure. Their objectives were to sabotage all four flak guns and/or level the building before the axis knew what him 'em. Their efforts were thwarted, but not before they were able to inflict severe structural damage to the building as well as take out two of the four flak guns. Now the contingency crews have been alerted and it’s estimated that reinforcements from the underground compound will be alerted and ready in only 15 minutes!

There’s no time to mount an organised offensive. The allies have 15 minutes to fight their way through the flaktower to destroy the remaining 2 flak guns.

The axis must stall the allies until reinforcements can arrive.

No name at the moment, but the map is of a Axis u-boat base somewhere on the north west coast of Europe.

Over View:
Allies need to storm the Axis bunker and stop them, the Axis from transmitting orders to thier U-boat fleet.

Mapname: “The Well Of Youth”
Type: MP (suprise!!! :D)

Story: (I try to explain it in my bad english :smiley: )
The German found out that the Allies have found the well of youth
which could make the soldiers be immortal and forever young.
So, of course, the Axis want to take over the base of the Allies, set in an old castle , to have access to the well…I just wanted to tell the story in a short form, so all the emotional, dramatical feelings can be enjoyed during the game, when thousands of unguilty people will die by your gun, you bastard…For what? For winning the war? No, for neverending life (you see, how emotional it will be :smiley: )

Axis have 2 initial spawn locations - east and west valley. This is a glimpse at the west valley one.

Once the wall is breached it looks like this. That’s the Allied wall spawn behind - it contains a capturable flag for axis.

Well after working on my map for a while i thought i would share it with you, it is based on the commando raid on St Nazaire, before you say it i know Pogs WAS working on such a project but i have contacted him and he has no longer any plans to do such a map.

The Objectives are:-

Allied will spawn on the boat, other spawn may well be available
They will have to blow the harbour wall to gain access to the rest of the objectives, additional routes will be available not just the one.

Allieds have to blow up the winding house equipment at both the north and south of the dry dock.

Axis will have watch towers and gun towers to build.

I am getting to grips with all the building the scripting is working at the moment but i may require help when it come to a forward spawn point fot the allieds.

I would post pictures but i don’t know how to at the moment.

To be honest I don’t know - it’s not high on my current list of priorities.
Having said that, I don’t like it’s straightness either, so I’ll probably try to fix it somehow.

The main problem is it runs through terrain, which doesn’t leave me much room to manouvre. I may delete the terrain bits it runs through and build them manually, recreating the terrain shaders by hand for it so my new bits match up with the terrain. A pain, but then again, if it makes it look better it’s time well spent.
