Okay, just played an MM and some sick shit happened. A guy played with bushwacker (can see it when u press TAB ofc), but i actually never saw the guy :blush: I dont know if he was invisible, or he was flying around the map or wtf, but turrets got deployed from nowhere, nobody was anywhere near themā€¦ wtf is this :sweat:

Could have been this ā€œout of syncā€-problem, where you canā€™t interact with objectives, but still shoot people and deploy your stuff. For others, your deployables appear from nowhere, and your shots are beeing fired from the spawn through all walls.
This can only be solved by you getting killed at your spawn, where you stand still in the views of everyone else.

Quake 2 was the first game i know had aimbots (it was part of my job to find them)im sure they were probably around a bit earlier but probably not much , the internet just wasnt up to dealing with online FPS much before then , go 300 ping dial up connections. and back then it was a much smaller niche of people around , damn near everyone was a late teen to young 20 single professional , only people with the cash and time to do it!
Knowing that crowd i bet the first aimbots were simple intellectual exercises people wondering if they could do something and not if they should.

The only time I ever saw a Vote Kick msg it was already over by the time I went to choose. I think it needs to be more obvious to grab your attention. Or maybe a little pre match video about how to initiate it, where it will show and how to vote yes or no.

Today I saw yet ANOTHER hacker. This was on the new execution map. The guy went 27 -2 with the sniper. Almost all headshots. And found me no matter where our team hid.

Headshots while we were both midair.

Headshots while in mid air, also while whipping around after being shot.

Headshots while wall kicking.

Come on now. All these weird head shots and the guy would find my team in cover even when not using heartbear sensor.

Shame.
