Hi , i make this post because i have been told by some experienced quake wars players that sometimes (mostly when playing with the Anansi or tormentor) they are getting a good amount of kills and then suddenly they get killed by a MAGOG. The strange thing was that there was no Magog around and they did not even hear the “particular sound” that the magogs do when approaching. One of those guys was rolled by a magog when driving an Armadillo! .
So my question is: It is possible to (using an Admind power in a ranked server) random kill a player who is “owning you” and makes it looks like it was an “accidentaly kill” ??.
unfortunately, there is not a video avaible to show this, but i would like to know if this happened to someone else?
I will not accuse any server or clan because i dont have any proofs yet, but just to make the community aware of this happen.
Any info that could help to clarify this thread, iwill be very appreciated.

Admin Cheat???
Admins can change water into wine, we can walk on water, we may even be able to raise the dead (with shock paddles). HOWEVER, no one can control the MAGOG’s they are a force of their own and secretly wait to rise up and overthrow their GDF oppressors and be a free MAGOG nation.
This has to be the most tin foil hat theory I have ever heard (and I have heard some rippers).
Of course there is a legend on the ghost MAGOG (The flying clutchman) that sails the air luring flyers to their deaths with silent roters and the souls of a million dead GDF at the helm, but we don’t talk about that…

Damn that’s weird. Had this happen to me when was owning some noob server, guy logged in as admin then poof killed by magog. Yeah definitely something funny going on there.
It seems to kill titans on occasion, as well >:( Bug will kill admins and defaults indiscriminately.

Once, I used Artillery on capturable spawn, and Admins warned me! Dude, can’t I choose one class? The most servers that lack justice are Ranked servers? It’s bad thing that Id Soft. made ET:QW that way we have to pay for Ranked servers and control the players. Is there any other way? Can we report a Ranked server and make it lose authorization for a Ranked server? One of my friends is an excellent flier. And he is banned on 3 servers, 3 Ranked servers…:stroggtapir:
Spawnkilling is a endless topic in QW.
Splashdamage did a good work with spawnprotection imo.
I wonder if really so much people are against it.
Simply because only players who dislike spawnkilling complain about it.
People who does not matter about it won’t say a word.
One day, before no one is left in QW, we should make a poll about it.
I really like to know ho many ppl are for or against it.
DavidM, you say an admin warned you. There are servers where non spawnkilling is allowed, even not on captureble ones. I don’t like it, too. But these are the rules so I respect it
On our server I only talk to people they should leave mainspawn alone as soon as players complain about it.
Most ppl dont’t like spawnkilling (maybe), so we made the rule no mainspawn attack, except deployables…
