Action Icons & Left Mouse Button

I haven’t played ET in a long while. I just got back into it and I sort of recall being able to walk up to an action icon (like a icon that repairs a tank) and being able to left click on it WHILE I had my gun out and it would auto-switch to my repair tool. Does this sound like anything that ET has or did have? I could have sworn it was on ET. Maybe I just set a shortcut key for my repair tool or something, but I doubt it.

Personnaly, I go in OPTIONS-CONTROL and I set :

Slot 5 = MOUSE3 (is a clik on the rolling-wheel)

Works for Repair-tool/medic-seryngue/field-Op arty

Is it what u need ???

Yeah, I thinkt hat’s what I did before. I don’t know about the mouse wheel as an option. It feels kind of funky trying to hammer down my mouse-wheel every time. I tried setting Q to specical weapon 1 and E to special weapon 2 (or vise versa). That seems to work alright. I never use leaning anyhow. Thanks for the reply.

I bind mouse wheel up to weapon bank 3 and mouse wheel down to weapon bank 5, works for engi

I got use to move my hand from D to 3 or 5 personally :slight_smile: I only takes nades with mouse wheel, dunno why… Be a medic can help for quick switch between 3 and 5. If you’re not a Rambo self-healing guy, of course…
