New guns on pre-order stuff, that’s aggressive. Hopefully it’s just a model for an existing weapon definition…
I really, really, really hope we get some clarification about these pre-order bonuses. I would love to know if any of these will be available as purchasable DLC.
I tend to buy my games from Steam, unless for some reason they cannot be bought there, as it’s just convenient to have my collection consolidated there. I’ve rebought (yes, bought again) Thief 3, ET:QW, Hexen, WH40k: DoW, FEAR, Doom 1&2, Kingpin, STALKER, KoTOR, Jade Empire, and R6:Vegas 2 just so that I can ensure that I will still be able to play it, even if something does happen to my boxed copies.
So, yeah, I’ll be pre-purchasing on Steam. However, I really, really, really dig that tattoo in the Psycho pack. It’s so damn awesome! Is there ever going to be any way that I can get that tattoo? Aside from also placing a pre-purchase at Direct 2 Drive. What about the Doom and Fallout packs?
I’m hoping the pre-order stuff will be like borderlands + skins. Like, you get some weapons that are a little bit cooler early on, but that the rest of us can unlock the same (or better) stuff later.
