About Loadout Cards...

(Randomdeath) #1

So, you know how if you need a new loadout card you need to buy a case, or get a random case drop in-game? well, i think buying loadout cards should be a thing… yes?.. no?..

(cornJester) #2

You can buy loadout cards. Every bronze card is available for 17.5k or for $3.50. You also left out trade ups. You can trade unwanted cards up.

Yeah. Too bad we don’t have such a feature…

It would help if you actually put the image link in there.

My screenshot program screwed it up for a minute. Already fixed.

You can trade up cards. Whenever i want one, that’s what i do. Specific cards are too expensive for me :frowning:

(Randomdeath) #7

yea the thing is bronze is cool and all but i dont want to trade up thats just more calculating credits to know how much i need… i want to go “Hey i have a ton of credits! lets go get a silver for a class i dont even have even an iron for!”

(Mister__Wiggles) #8

The current trade up system is OK how it is. Cobalts and trading down needs to be worked on though and SD have already said they are working on it so time will tell.

(Draza) #9

But you don’t need to buy a silver card. Bronze cards and above have the exact same loadouts, the only differences are the skins.
The shop has bronze cards, and that’s all you need.

Hello
gift cards are able via the platform Steam?

Im not sure what you mean, BUT I think you’re asking if you can gift cards to friends in game through steam? IF thats what you tried to say then sadly no, you can’t.

Yes i know this already, and thats exactly what i mean by my o.p. is that i want to be able to buy rarer cards for the skins (and because the cobalt loadout card just looks badass) but i do also think rarer cards should have better augs…

Big no to the rare cards having better augments. This will never become a thing. The entire point of the current system is that you can’t change money directly into power. With the current system you can get the exact same amount of power from a bronze loadout that you can from a cobalt. That is a very good thing imho. It doesn’t take long at all to build up 17,500 credits to buy whatever loadout you want.

(Randomdeath) #14

good point, Ardez

(immenseWalnut) #15

You don’t need loadout cards. If you can aim, you are already at a high enough level that cards barely make a difference, and if you can’t aim, the cards wont carry you no matter how many you buy.

(Ghosthree3) #16

For the most part yes. Some perks make a huge difference though. Like unshakable.

Yeah, you have a point. I don’t really know the perks that well, I pay little attention to them mostly, but there are some that are very potent (and others that are more or less useless). But you can live without them if need be, although for comp play I would imagine that not having them would be a major hindrance (but that occurs because comp players can aim with deadly accuracy). For the average pub player though, the cards make little difference (although the variety in weapons is good for players to have, I have one loadout card for Redeye, with his stock weapon, it has its uses, but I would rather have a Dreiss).

The augment “Get Up” is a must have for medic loadouts for me.

Edit: The augment “Get Up” gives 50% more health upon revives.
